Introduction to the Study. Zambia has officially launched the Employment Impact Assessment (EmpIA) for the LuangwaβMwami Road, a key infrastructure link along the Nacala Corridor. The study forms part of the ILOβs STRENGTHEN2 project, co-funded by the European Union and implemented in partnership with the African Development Bank (AfDB). ## Project Overview. The study aims to provide new evidence on how major transport investments influence job creation and labour market outcomes.
